Coached for two years at the University of Connecticut as a defensive graduate assistant before joining the F.C. Barcelona Dragons and was another of Jack Bicknell’s coaching staff who made the switch to the Claymores in December 2003.

Before his stint in Connecticut he worked the previous two seasons at his alma mater, Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Brown served as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach while at Kutztown.

After graduation from Kutztown, Brown signed a free agent contract with the Washington Redskins in June, 1998. He competed for the Frankfurt Galaxy and was a starter on the defensive line for the eventual World Bowl Champions. He was signed by Seattle Seahawks in 1999 and played for the Galaxy again in 2000.
