PRO CAREER: Originally signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 23, 2002… Waived by the Chiefs at the end of training camp on September 1, 2002… Signed to the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns on October 22, 2002… Released by the Browns on December 3…Signed to the Chiefs' practice squad on December 4 and remained there for final four games of the season.
COLLEGE: Was a standout defensive end at Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Arkansas… A three-year starter, he played in 37 career games, starting 33… Totaled 246 tackles (149 solo), 32 sacks for total losses of 235 yards, 5 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries, 5 passes defensed, 11 QB pressures, and amassed 67 tackles for losses… Earned all-conference honors and led his team in sacks and tackles in each of his final three years at OBU… Was an All-Gulf South Conference selection after leading the league with 12 sacks as a senior in 2001, as well as 77 tackles (45 solo), 26 of those coming behind the line of scrimmage… Was selected to play in the 2002 Cactus Bowl, the NCAA Division II All-Star game.
