PRO CAREER: Fifth round draft pick by the Packers in 2002. Very highly rated - number three quarterback at the Packers throughout 2003 season, who showed his promise in 2002 pre-season with 20 completions from 45 attempts for 290 yards, two touchdowns - and no interceptions. COLLEGE CAREER: Recruited by Packers Head Coach Mike Sherman out of High School in 1991 when Sherman coached at Texas A&M . . . considered that December to be the best high school quarterback from Louisiana, a state that has produced several NFL QBs . . . turned down several national powers to attend LSU . . . spent first four years in quarterback logjam at Louisiana State before transferring to Northwestern (La.) State for the 2001 season. Finished the 2001 season with nine games, 142 from 250 for 2,002 yards and 11 touchdowns, with only three interceptions, all of which were tipped.
